Loving Jesus

Loving People

Serving Everyone

We like to think of ourselves as a family ministry.  We work hard on being a welcoming people to everyone.  KFBC-Uth is a  place of encouragement, connection, and of vibrant faith.

Parents are a vital part of our ministry and we encourage them to be encouraged, stay informed, and be equipped.

  • Semester Services

During the school year students meet on the balcony of the Activity Center to begin Wednesday night service.  The entire student body meets together for an activity and student led worship music.  After music the students divide into High school and JAM (junior high & middle) for teaching time.   High school group is 10th-12th grade students, while JAM  is 6th-9th.

  • Summer Services

During the summer months students meet in the Activity Center for student services (until Sept 5th).  Services are 6:30-8pm. Summer services are uniquely different than those during the school year.  Students from 6th-12th grade worship together, sit under teaching, and break into Life Groups for discussion.  Students typically hang around and play indoor volleyball after service.

  • Contact Pastor Tyson (Associate Pastor of Youth & Recreation)

My passion is talking with others about Jesus.  I encourage questions of all kinds at church as we seek to grow in our faith in Christ.   I love hanging out with students in my office, around Kearney, and during services.  I work with parents to help them reach their students with the love of Jesus!
