Exciting things are happening with the FBC Women's Ministry. If God is calling you to serve women then we invite you to find your place, as we seek to equip, encourage, and embrace women of all ages, from all walks of life in becoming women who glorify the Lord. Women's Ministry hosts various activities several times a year, please see below to find out more about coming events.

Bible Studies take place a various times throughout the year and a led by various facilitators from FBC. If you are interested in a particular study and would like to contact a facilitator, contact the church office at 816-628-5693. 

  • Serenity

    3rd Thursday Every Month

    room 104

    Serenity is a group of young moms gathering for food, fellowship, Bible study, and support. They meet the third Thursday every month in room 104. Childcare is provided for this event, no sign-up necessary, just bring yourself and the kids! 

  • Women's Bible Study

    Better by Jen Wilkin

    Tuesday Mornings

    Wednesday evenings

    This is a verse-by-verse study of Hebrews where Jen Wilkin explore how God "provided something better for us" with JESUS (Hebrews 11:40). This study will examine the how the new covenant is better than the old covenant and Jesus fulfills every promise.

    (Sisters Through A Risen Savior)

    "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as you are doing."

    Stars 5:11 meets periodically throughout the year with various activities and projects to serve the community. 

    The next event is Spring into Action on March 1 at 2pm in the activity center. Ladies will serve together preparing meals, necessities, and fun spring items for families in need. Sign-up and choose an egg from the welcome center to volunteer to bring needed items.
